Johnson Service group is looking for a part-time Assistant Water Resources Specialist  for one of our clients in San Jose, CA. This position involves assisting the Water Supply Planning Team with tasks such as organizing model documentation, performing data entry, and preparing meeting materials, while also contributing to outreach efforts for the Water Supply Master Plan.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the documentation and organization of models used in water supply planning.
Perform data entry tasks, specifically updating and maintaining retailer spreadsheets.
Assist with processing and fulfilling data requests from internal and external stakeholders.
Support the preparation of meeting materials, including agendas, presentations, and notes, as well as follow-up on action items.
Contribute to the outreach efforts for the Water Supply Master Plan, helping to engage with relevant communities and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and organize complex information.
A quick learner with a keen interest in acquiring new skills and knowledge.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while being an effective team player.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Knowledge of water resources management and environmental issues is preferred.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in water resources management, natural resources management, planning, civil or other field of engineering, geology, physical sciences, earth sciences, natural sciences, or a related field.
Valid CA Drivers LicenseÂ
This is a part-time position $44.62/hr.Â
