JSG is seeking a Certified Industrial Hygienist for a direct hire position in Woodland Hills, CA.

With a team of seasoned experts dedicated to ensuring workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and the promotion of a healthy environment, they seek a highly experienced Certified Industrial Hygienist. This role requires a professional who can bring extensive expertise and a consultative approach to effectively serve their clients.
We are seeking a seasoned Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) with over 8 years of professional experience in the consulting industry. The ideal candidate will possess robust technical knowledge, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in industrial hygiene consulting. As a CIH Consultant, you will be responsible for managing complex projects, conducting comprehensive assessments, and providing expert guidance to clients to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive industrial hygiene assessments, including exposure monitoring, risk assessments, and control evaluations.
Develop and implement industrial hygiene programs and strategies for clients across various industries.
Perform qualitative and quantitative exposure assessments for chemical, physical, biological, and ergonomic hazards.
Prepare detailed reports and recommendations based on assessment findings.
Provide expert guidance and technical support to clients regarding regulatory compliance, hazard control, and best practices.
Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients on industrial hygiene topics and practices.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated solutions for clients.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and emerging trends in industrial hygiene.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service.
Participate in business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations.
Qualifications:
Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) credential is required.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in industrial hygiene, with a significant portion in a consulting environment.
Master’s degree in Public Health, Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
In-depth knowledge of industrial hygiene principles, practices, and regulations (e.g., OSHA, NIOSH, ACGIH).
Proven experience in conducting exposure assessments and developing control strategies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in using industrial hygiene equipment and software.
Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with a variety of industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, construction, and chemical.
Advanced certifications or training in related fields (e.g., CSP, ASP).
Experience in conducting training sessions and workshops.
Salary $140,000
