Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is currently looking for a Manufacturing Customer Service Rep with   2-5 YEARS’ experience working in a Manufacturing or Aerospace environment. This is a Temp-Direct hire opportunity with an Electronics company in Phoenix, AZ.

Salary: $22.00 HR Would like someone with portal and manufacturing experience

Job Description:  Under general supervision, employee performs all duties associated with customer service and sales in a polite, empathetic and professional manner.  Exercises independent judgment and discretion in communicating with customers.

  • Provide customers with pricing, delivery, and product information.
  • Answer customer questions, resolve problems, and perform other marketing activities (i.e. promote and sell products, and enter or confirm sales).
  • Monitor and address commercial requirements on customers’ portals and forward quality and technical requirements to the appropriate CCS Department.
  • Receive and or place telephone calls, which are non-routine and may require deviation from standard procedures.
  • Receive and answer customer questions, comments or complaints while following established guidelines.
  • Prepare responses to customers in required format.
  • Act as a liaison between the customer and various departments within the company.
  • Maintain records and assist in the preparation of required reports.
  • May act as company contact for customer returned Airborne/Warranty parts while following established guidelines.
  • May provide back-up relief coverage for the Company’s Receptionist and alternate coverage for job duties when other departmental co-workers are not present.
  • Perform tasks promptly.
  • Insure that output normally equals or exceeds that expected.
  • Produce work product that seldom has appreciable errors.
  • Conduct them self in a business-like and civil manner.
  • Ability to react to changes productively and perform other essential tasks as assigned.

Skills and Requirements:
  • Applicant must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from co-workers, and customers.
  • Ability to interface effectively with various interlocking departments
  • Ability to acquire extensive knowledge of the Company’s product lines and applications.

  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods in front of a computer.

Equipment: Ability to safely and proficiently operate office equipment such as copiers, fax machines, calculators, and personal computers.
Computer Skills: Software proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to utilize the Company’s current computer system, and the Company’s other proprietary software applications.  Ability to work within customers’ on-line portal environments with sufficient training and support.
Language Skills: Superior ability to communicate at a polite professional level in English Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions. Ability to write reports, and business correspondence.  Second languages (particularly Spanish, Mandarin, French) a plus.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Must possess the manual dexterity to safely and proficiently operate company equipment such as copiers, fax machines, calculators, and personal computers. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continuously required to sit, use hands and fingers or flex and extend fingers with opposition of thumb-palmar grasp, talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, turn, twist, push, pull, and to move within all areas of the facilities and parking lots. A computer is used to access, input, and retrieve data. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus.
Normal manufacturing office environment with possible exposure to moving machinery, dust, fumes, smoke, gases, or other irritating articles, excessive noises, radiant or electrical energy, solvents, grease or oil, controlled chemicals and substances, exposure to slippery or uneven walking surfaces, working in close proximity with others, and working inside of the building. Employee may be occasionally exposed to marked changes in temperature and humidity.
