Johnson Service Group, a professional recruiting firm, is seeking a Plant Controller for our global manufacturing near Columbia, MO. Reporting to the Plant Leader, this individual will support a single site facility with 900+ employees. Responsibilities include financial management of the Business Unit to include direction of accounting, budget and strategic planning, staffing, and all other activities necessary for a successful financial function. Direct Reports: 4 Financial Analysts.Â
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance and enforcement of specific finance directives and instructions.
Identify risks and ensure proper risk management procedures including SOX controls are adequate and effective
Direct and support strategic planning, budgeting and implementation of programs and plans. Â
Direct and support financial analysis and forecasting to provide management information, and provide tools that facilitate implementation of actions.
Serve as an Advisor to management and team members
Perform analysis and reviews of proposals, performances, and actions, and recommend next steps
Evaluate and follow-up investment, divestment, and restructuring projects
Encourage & lead continuous improvements and cost reductions
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field and 5+ years of finance/accounting operational experience
