Johnson Service Group, a nationally recognized staffing firm, is targeting a High Voltage Field Service Engineer for our widely diversified, critical equipment manufacturing client in Boston, MA. The incumbent will perform preventive/corrective maintenance on HV equipment, troubleshoot and repair equipment, and execute/supervise installation and commissioning.
69kV – 550kV experience is a must | 80%+ Travel (Mostly day trips, home most evenings and weekends) | Overnights around 20% | Generous relocation is available!

Qualifications:
3-5+ years of High Voltage Substations and equipment (>69kV), doing field assignments, erection, testing and repair
Reside within the Boston, MA area or willing to relocate
Knowledge of operating test equipment, such as CB timers, power factor, TTR, conductor, CT testers, Megger
Experience performing electrical tests, SF6 leak detection, gas analysis, timing, power factor, & contact resistance
