Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for a Accounts Payable Specialist with 2+ years of experience. This is a full time (remote) opportunity with a financial institution in Washington State. Hourly wage $25-28/hr..
Must live in the Pacific Northwest to be considered. No C2C
Responsibilities
- Processing accounts payable transactions including vendor profile maintenance, invoices, expense reimbursements; corporate cards, and purchase orders.
- Resolve discrepancies and respond to inquiries from various vendors and internal customers.
- Assist with the accounting month end close process by processing accrual and reclass journal entries and performing expense analytic review.
Qualifications
- Minimum two years of post-high school education or equivalent work experience required.
- Minimum two years of accounts payable or accounting experience required.
- Proficient knowledge of IRS 1099/1042-S reporting requirements to assist preparation and annual filing of IRS regulatory forms/reports and sales/use tax required.
- Proficient understanding of accounting terminology and concepts required.
- Proficient PC skills required (Microsoft Office), with the ability to learn new software required. Concur experience preferred.
