Johnson Service Group has a need for a Business Analyst – R&D, Quality. The successful candidate should have a background in the Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences Industry. Someone with 2-5 years of proven work experience with strong analytical skills to collect, organize, and translate business requirements into solution designs and technical requirements. This person must demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. He/she must be self-motivated, results oriented, and a great communicator. This person is also adept at analyzing, report writing, and comfortable presenting findings to the user communities being supported.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions
- Gather, create and document current and future business process flows
- Lead the analysis and business requirements gathering to develop detailed functional requirements, clearly stating project scope
- Work closely with business stakeholders and provide project management and business process analysis expertise while delivering world class support to the business
- Conduct analysis of system specifications and use analysis / diagramming tools to represent business / technical processes
- Create clear, concise, and complete functional specifications & business requirements documents.
- Reviews test plans for regression and system execution
- Responsible for User Acceptance test plan creation when required
- Manage change communication and coordinate end-user training for system implementations
- Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
- Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports
- Assist in portfolio activities and the creation of templates, process improvement, and framework for the Business Analyst team
- Managing competing resources and priorities
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in business analysis or a related field
- Experience with Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent
- Experience with eDMS, LMS, QMS, CTMS, eTMF, ELN and EDC is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and influence at different levels within the organization as well as collaborate with cross-functional business partners and technical teams
- Attention to detail with the ability to analyze and solve complex problems as well as provide documentation, guidance and instruction to users
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a high degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to proactively plan, organize, and deliver with limited oversight, prioritize, and quickly adapt to changing situations
