Johnson Service Group is recruiting for a Clinical Applications Core Manager for a great client of ours in Tampa, FL

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • The Manager of Clinical Applications Core oversees all activity related to the assessment, planning, implementation, post-delivery, and direction for clinical charge management, production issue resolution, mobile device management, clinical application integration, custom reporting, and software development for the electronic health record of highly complex/enterprise wide cross functional programs, requests or projects.
  • The incumbent will work closely with key administrative, operational, clinical, surgical, financial, and pharmacy departments and IT functional units to ensure high quality solutions delivery and ongoing support.
  • S/he will serve as an internal consultant to the management and leadership and actively contribute to the formation and execution of the overall technology vision for Client.
  • Assignment of incidents and requests to the appropriate team member. Prioritize tickets, follow up on resolution, and ensure timely communication to requester. Redirect and escalate problems to correct resource.
  • Plans and develops service level agreements (SLAs) with key customers.
  • Establishes standards and procedures for analysis, design, build, testing, and implementation;
  • Establishes standards for the ongoing maintenance of production systems to ensure timely resolution of problems and request for enhancements, reliable performance, appropriate change management, accurate documentation, and security;
  • Establishes standards to ensure communication to the customer regarding status of problems, enhancements, and development projects occurs in a consistent manner and on a regular basis.
  • Provides assistance in the development of project timetables for proposed projects; assigns appropriate staff members to projects, ensuring teams are composed of individuals with appropriate skills and expertise.
  • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention. Ensure policies and procedures are followed regarding outages and degradations in service
  • Identify developmental goals, measures of achievement, support needed and training/education.
  • Development of processes, programming languages, tools and methodologies.
  • Oversees all day-to-day operations of the group including personnel actions. Review requests and priority, status reporting, staff development, application development, and problem resolution.

Clinical Systems Analysts Tier II, Clinical Systems Analyst Mobile Device Management, Clinical Systems Analysts Integration/Core, Clinical Systems Analysts CCL & Javascript, Clinical Systems Charge Analyst

Required Education:

Bachelors; Computer Science or healthcare related field

Preferred Experience:

Minimum three (3) years leadership experience as a supervisor and/or manager

Minimum 5 years’ experience managing service requests, production issues, project tasks in support of clinical applications.

Minimum 5 years’ experience working on healthcare ambulatory, clinical, hospital, and/or ancillary solutions

Two (2) years of experience in IT managing support of Cerner Millennium CCL, Core, and PowerChart
