Johnson Service Group (JSG) a nationally recognized professional recruiting firm that is currently seeking 2 CNC Machine Operators to support a highly stable manufacturer in Ladson, SC. These are full time positions, not contract.
Shift Available: 3rd shift (11:00pm - 7:30am, Sunday - Friday) | 10% shift premium available once training is completed
SUMMARY:
- Operate mills, drill presses, lathes and CNC machines for the manufacturing process
- Monitor machine operations to ensure finished products and components meet quality and productivity measures
- Understand daily production requirements
- Report total measure of parts manufactured per shift
- Operate all machinery, tools and equipment safely
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery
- Report problems to trainer
- Follow blueprints and work instructions
- Replenish, stock and sort needed supplies
- Maintain proper housekeeping and safety standard
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- High school diploma or GED
- Capable of performing own offsets
- Skilled in the use of measuring tools
- Prior machine operation experience specifically with CNC's is ideal
- Basic math skills
- Lift up to 30 pounds unassisted
- Good manual dexterity
- Ability to learn and retain knowledge
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Flexibility with overtime where heavy workloads occur
- Mechanical aptitude
