Johnson Service Group (JSG) is actively searching for a Continuous Improvement Engineer for our client’s Jackson, MO area operation. The Continuous Improvement Engineer will utilize Lean process improvement methods with the goal of reducing costs and increasing plant efficiency in direct support of the Gross Productivity program at the company. This is accomplished within the framework of a developing and ongoing implementation of company’s LEAN program initiatives with a specific emphasis on meeting Gross Productivity targets.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of successfully leadership of manufacturing continuous improvement projects, proven track record of execution with appropriate tools within a LEAN environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • Lean Certification preferred
  • Ability to lead Continuous Improvement events/projects.
  • Experience with statistical data analysis required for CI and LEAN / PEAK
  • Experience with Plant/Facility design/layout software.
  • Adept with plant costing and financial measurements.
  • Self-motivated with excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable presenting to differing management levels.
  • MS Office software skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, statistical software such as Minitab or equivalent.
  • High energy, self-motivated, enthusiastic, well organized.
