JSG is hiring a Design Engineer with 3 plus years experience for our client in Long Beach, CA.
Responsibilities
The Design Engineer is responsible for creating and helping the implementation of effective design solutions, from inception to completion, with consideration to schedule, budget, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications
- Design products by defining and executing engineering concepts, including material and process selections.
- Create 3D models of individual components and assemblies in CATIA
- Create and or check 2D drawings of parts, components, sub-assemblies and assemblies as required in CATIA and AUTOCAD
- Provide design support for current and new product design projects.
Requirements
- The design tasks are related to an eVTOL vehicle, so aerospace related design experience is a must.
- The project is for 2 months and starts in the next couple of weeks
- There is an opportunity for full time employment at the end of project depending on project performance.
- Proficient in NX CAD
