As part of a hardworking team of diverse engineers on the Avionics Center of Excellence Electromagnetics team, you will test and analyze the EME of electrical systems and components of various spaceflight avionics systems. Expect to share in our impact on the safety verification of flight avionics!

In your daily work, you will operate EMI/EMC test equipment and follow test plans and procedures to perform EMI/EMC tests on avionics components. You will also collaborate with internal customers to integrate customer equipment with EMI lab equipment.  You will operate and maintain EMI/EMC test equipment.

  • Minimum of a associates degree in electrical technologies or related technical discipline
  • 5+ years industry experience in aerospace system electrical design and verification
  • EMI,EMC,EME test background
  • Proven understanding of and experience with MIL-STD-461G and DO-160G
  • Proficient measurement skills using typical laboratory electronic test equipment
  • Ability to understand electrical circuit schematics
  • Ability to support long hours and weekend shifts during critical test campaigns
  • Willingness to travel to support customer test activities
  • Proficiency in EM modeling and circuit simulation
