Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional recruiting assisting our global manufacturing client with a Inventory Control Leader - Corporate Trainer.
Remote opportunity. Engineering degree required.
Summary: Responsible for training and standardization in warehousing and inventory control across multiple facilities. 50% travel throughout the US and Canada | Our client is unable to provide current or future sponsorship.
Responsibilities:
- Trains and coaches warehouse personnel, material planners, and other related parties on warehousing and inventory control
- Contribute to initiatives by establishing standards and best practices related to inventory control, inventory accuracy, warehousing, and internal logistics
- Provide materials process expertise for plants and assist in problem solving and issue resolution
- Drive Plan for Every Part, inventory control and internal replenishment strategies in the factories
- Help drive accountability to ensure that inventory discrepancies are root caused and counter measured
- Monitor KPIs related to inventory accuracy and internal logistics and standard work execution of the factories
- Drive ITM throughout the organization. Assist in the training and development of strong RCCM analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in warehousing or inventory control roles within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- SAP experience (MM/PP Modules)
- Microsoft Excel skills
