Johnson Service Group (JSG) is recruiting an
Information Technology Administrator - (TS/SCI clearance) for a 12-month contract assignment with Bechtel National in Columbia, Maryland. This position offers a W2 hourly pay rate between $75.00 - $85.00 (according to experience) and time and a half for overtime. Per diem offered when applicable.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement, troubleshoot, maintain, and test virtual and physical IT systems.
- Install, test, and maintain several types of network devices and interfaces.
- Configure and install systems and subsystems, IT components, and equipment as they relate to data, voice, and video hardware and software.
- Support network analysis for performance and issues
- Evaluate new technologies and techniques.
- Interface with customers and performing requirements gathering.
- Develop and maintain installation, configuration, and operational procedures.
- Support Windows/Linux systems for network operation and IT systems
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Due to the requirements of federal government contracts, U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
- Must possess an active TS SCI security clearance.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with a minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience in Information Technology; OR in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 12 years of relevant professional experience in Information Technology
- Technical experience such as system installation, system configuration, network engineering, computer technician, etc.
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting systems and network components.
- Experience installing, testing, maintaining and operating IT and/or hardware and software components (e.g., Linux/Unix, virtualization)
- Experience with infrastructure architecture concepts, configurations, and standards
- Proven ability to support network system and network design for IT systems and components
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with configuration management environments (e.g., GIT and Subversion)
- Knowledge of Software Defined Networking (SDN) or Network Function Virtualization (NFV)
- Experience with LTE, UMTS, GSM technology, wireless voice, or landline phone switches
- Experience with telephony troubleshooting
- Security+ certification
