Aircraft Interior Technician - Upholstery with a minimum 2 years experience for a contract to direct opportunity
in
Hartford, CT.
The Interior Technician - Upholstery, will fabricate, install and refurbish aircraft interior equipment and furnishings per work order or customer request. This may include items such as carpeting and upholstery on seats, card tables, side panels, glare shield, aircraft cabinets, card tables and side panels. Perform and document all work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required.
In your role, you will:
• Adhere General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop and / or Hanger positions)
• Fabricate / install / refurbish / modify / aircraft interior equipment and furnishings
• Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required
• Perform mechanical / electrical removals and installations
• Perform assigned duties as assigned
• May assist with maintenance at off-site locations
• Clean aircraft as required
• Assist with other maintenance disciplines
Qualifications
- Have interiors experience on aircraft upholstery (ex. previous soft goods experience, upholstery experience remove & installs in aircraft)
- Minimum 2 years of interiors experience.
- Must be able to work any shift and OT as required.
- Basic tools required.
- Must be able to work in the US without Sponsorship
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude
- Demonstrate ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings - preferred
- Basic PC skills - preferred
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status
