Johnson Service Group (JSG) is actively seeking Interior Technician - Upholstery with 5 years of experience for a long-term contract in Tucson, AZ. The qualified candidate will follow the design spec, engineering prints, FAA, RSM and/or other internal regulatory requirements, to ensure safety, quality, schedule and profitability targets are achieved. 

Interior Craftsperson - Upholstery based in Tucson, AZ.

In your role, you will:

• Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements for factory, shop and/or hanger positions
• Comply with environmental health and safety policies / procedures.
• Participate in 5-S activities.
• Perform work in a safe and timely manner
• Fabricate, install and refurbish aircraft interior equipment and furnishings per work order or customer request
• Complete customer requests that include items such as carpeting and upholstery on seats, card tables, side panels, glare shield, aircraft cabinets, card tables and side panels
• Perform and document all work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required
• Assist with maintenance at off-site locations as needed
• Clean aircraft as required
• Assist with other maintenance disciplines as needed



As our ideal candidate:

• You typically have 5 to 10 years of interiors experience (i.e. previous Upholstery experience (i.e., auto, RV, boat, etc)
• You have thorough knowledge of upholstery pattern build-up
• You have thorough knowledge of upholstery component construction and assembly
• Your have thorough knowledge of material lay-out from patterns
• You have the ability to demonstrate mechanical aptitude
• You have the ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
• You have basic PC skills
• You have the ability to communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and/or aircraft status

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience 
  • Must be able to work any shift
  • Must be able to work OT as required
  • Must have corporate experience 
  • Must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
