Johnson Service Group (JSG), a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm is assisting one of our key manufacturing clients with a direct hire, Maintenance Technician near Findlay, OH. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repairs as well as performing preventative maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
Shift: 7pm – 7am on a 2-2-3 Schedule
Summary:
- Troubleshooting electrical equipment
- Performing repairs and preventative maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment
- Reading blueprints and electrical/hydraulic schematics to perform maintenance
Requirements:
- 3-5 years' experience in Plastic Manufacturing; preferably plastic injection molding
- Strong electrical background
- Die setting experience
- Knowledge of industrial controls with injection machines
- Experience with part picking robots, programming, and troubleshooting
- Effective communication and writing skills
- Ability to maintain work area, tools, parts, and equipment in a clean and organized manner for the purposes of safety, efficiency, and appearance
- Technician must have his/her own hand tools
