Johnson Service Group is looking for a Master Scheduler for one of our Clients. This is a Direct Position. This person is responsible for ensuring that all timelines involving production and the supply chain are all clear to proceed in an efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Sets schedule for production to maximize the production efficiency and satisfying customer demands.
  • Ensure Production has tooling and materials to run the boards.
  • Drive the daily meeting between Production and Customer Focused Team.
  • Assist in rearranging build schedule for any changes that can include customer involvement, delay in deliveries, RMAs, etc.
  • Ensures the availability of inventory in the facility’s stock room for the supply chain.
  • Manage all existing as well as develop, propose, and implement new Program Management processes, systems, and procedures as deemed necessary.
  • Overall responsible for leadership of all phases of management for the existing customer; includes interfacing with all internal partners and staff to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate the efforts of cross-functional departments as required to ensure that programs are run within the requirements of the customer needs.
  • Monitor all relevant department metrics and KPI’s and take associated actions where necessary.
  • Suggest and lead/participate in improvement and development measures to reduce costs gain efficiencies for all areas of responsibility.
  • Serves as the main interface between multiple manufacturing sites and customer to drive project plans to schedule and cost targets
  • Serve as site SAP super user for area of responsibility.
  • Provides guidance and recommendations to business unit management in relation to interpretation of relevant regulations, including applicable trade reference programs, and the integration of regulatory requirements into business plans and processes.
  • Supports the Quality Management system including conformance to ISO based registrations and controls for the facility business plan based upon targeted market sectors.
  • Manages conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment, as well as partners with business executives and operations leaders in order to develop appropriate solutions.
  • Reviews and supporting negotiations on terms and conditions for completing Contracts and Agreements to help establish strategic customer partnerships.
  • Prepares activity reports and other data input as required

Qualifications:

  • Possess five (5) years’ experience as a planner or master scheduler in an NPI contract manufacturing environment
  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a technical, business, or financial discipline
  • Proficient with PC-based software including SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel.
  • Strong, effective organizational skills required; detail oriented; ability to multitask
  • Demonstrated effective leadership abilities required
  • CPI, CRM or equivalent experience
  • Possess excellent communication skills in both verbal and written form
  • Ability to read, and interpret engineering instructions, schematics, technical procedures, and various reports
  • Possess a high level of integrity in handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees;
  • Maintain courteous, professional and effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Available to work the days and hours necessary to perform all assigned responsibilities and tasks. Must be available (especially during regular business hours or shifts) to communicate with subordinates, supervisors, customers, vendors, and any other person or organization with whom interaction is required to accomplish work and goals. This may include odd hour teleconferences with global facilities.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time; use hands and fingers to handle panels and boards; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and have steady hands and dexterity. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
