Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently searching for a Mechanical Staff Engineer to lead the innovation and development of hydraulic actuation products for military aircraft systems.
Background, Experience and Responsibilities:
- 10+ plus years of mechanical structural analysis and design experience with aerospace and defense products,
- Hydraulics actuator analysis background is a plus.
- Must have a strong background in the of design and analysis of metallic structures, and hydraulic actuation systems expertise is a plus.
- Responsible for providing product design and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) expertise.
- Project leadership experience is highly preferred.
- Will lead contribute to New Product Introduction (NPI) design, analysis, development and test for current and future technologies.
- Must have strong knowledge of FEA and the use of related analysis tools and methodologies, to perform hydraulic, stress and control theory analysis.
- Collaborate with other senior leadership, and may direct engineers, as required.
- Implement process improvements at a senior project level.
- Ability to successfully drive projects through the Product Lifecycle (PLC).
- Experience with actuators, hydraulic systems, transducers, and similar high reliability products is highly preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent discipline.
- Master of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent discipline is a plus.
