Johnson Service Group has immediate contract positions for Mechanical Test Technicians. This is an excellent contract position with a leader in test engineering for more than 60 years.
Required Experience:
- Will perform a variety of mechanical tests for automotive products, including shock and vibration testing.
- 2-4+ years of related mechanical testing experience.
- Must have a strong mechanical aptitude, including proficient use of hand and power tools.
- Prior experience as a machinist, HVAC, field service, mechanic, skilled trades, and/or other mechanical fields.
- Perform dynamics testing test set-up and test execution.
- Ability to work from blueprints and verbal instructions.
- Clean test chambers and working area as needed.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Display a sense of urgency in completing projects.
- Must have solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Microsoft Word and basic Excel skills is a plus.
- Must be a Permanent Resident or U.S. Citizen.
Education:
- High School Diploma, or a GED equivalent is required.
- Mechanical Trade School training, mechanical coursework or an Associate’s Degree is a plus, but not required.
