Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional recruiting firm currently seeking a Motor & Generator Repair Lead for our global manufacturing client in the Tucson, AZ area. The incumbent would be responsible for leading and supporting the efforts of the service department by developing successful repair plans, goals and objectives. This is a Direct Hire, first shift opportunity.
Duties:
- Assign project scopes and tasks to designated technicians, while handling the management of employee time and productivity.
- Serve as the customer interface to assist sales teams with customer visits, provide technical assistance and develop job costs based on specifically crafted labor. Proactively assist in resolutions as needed.
- Responsible for writing customized client repair reports, including root cause analysis, and orchestrating orders, deliveries and pick up.
- Proactively drive internal productivity and cycle reductions, while improving quality assurance and driving consistency throughout quality processes and procedures. Handle technical support to perform onsite repairs and installations.
- Provide oversight of final quality inspection processes, resolving issues and driving continued resolutions while focusing on HSE safety metrics.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of leadership/supervisory experience
- 5+ years of large, industrial equipment service repair experience (motors, turbines, generators, distribution equipment, etc.)
- Previous experience working in a shop environment
- SAP is ideal but not required
