- Perform regular network scans, report on issues and work with server/desktop admins to ensure issues are addressed in a timely manner

- Assist with sensitive data scanning/discovery and remediation

- Maintain malware and IPS policies using Cisco AMPP for endpoints, Windows Defender (ATP), and Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) services

- Assist in general security policy evaluation, incident response planning, disaster recovery planning/testing

- Communicate/escalate any issues as necessary to network architect for assistance and general awareness

- Participate in capacity planning exercises, making recommendations for changes/improvements

- Take ownership of daily network management and support tasks

- Support all route/switch infrastructure using multiple Cisco technologies and platforms including Catalyst, Nexus, Industrial, FTD, ASA, ISR, ASR, SD-WAN

- Maintain software configurations and operating system updates

- Update configuration templates

- Provision and deploy new hardware at all locations

- Manage firewall configurations according to company policy, VPN connections, Site to Site and remote access

- Proactively monitor network conditions with various tools including SolarWinds, Cisco Prime Infrastructure, Cisco Stealthwatch, Cisco DNA Center and others

- Manage Citrix NetScaler load balancers and global load balancers

- Manage public-facing DNS records, SSL certificates, DNS filtering via Umbrella

- Maintain DUO 2-factor authentication system, associated servers, and assist users with issues

- Manage inventory for spare equipment including switches, SFPs, power supplies, cables, etc.

- Identity management using ADFS, Cisco ISE, AAD including SSO connections to all third-party SaaS providers and external partners

- Manage and maintain the wireless infrastructure at all locations troubleshooting connectivity and coverage issues

- Continuous improvement through innovation with technology

- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study

- Minimum of 10 years of work in network administration and security with progressively increasing responsibilities


- CCNP Security certification

- Any GIAC certifications
