Johnson Service Group, a nationally recognized staffing firm, is targeting a Paint Process Engineer for our industrial manufacturing client in Jefferson City, MO. The incumbent would be responsible for process improvements in quality, safety, productivity and operational experience. The incumbent will also lead equipment and process improvements, launch activities and manage the paint and e-coat processes while providing support to the maintenance and operations team.
Responsibilities:
- Recommend, implement, plan, organize, control, and evaluate paint and e-coat activities, implementing process improvements, supporting maximum uptime through predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
- Manage, collect, and monitor corrective actions for down time issues, while developing and maintaining proper documentation.
- Advise and lead e-coat and paint technicians, supporting the quality of production, root cause analysis initiatives and implementation of corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 2 years’ experience
- 1 year of paint operations preferred.
- Experience in the automotive, lean manufacturing, and a Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification preferred.
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work within the United States.
