The candidate I am looking for has professional certifications in Microsoft Products more specifically in Power Apps and Power Bi preferably. I am also looking for someone well versed in automating business processes using technology as well as utilizing any type of Project Management software (i.e. Microsoft Project, P6, etc.) A plus for the individual would be someone who has had experience in web development, server-side infrastructure, and database management. If they have a portfolio of some of the projects and dashboards they have created I could review that would be great as well.

1. Possesses expertise in multiple capabilities and a system or platform.
2. Participates and at times leads capability-related meetings and serves as voice of respective capability area(s).
3. Assists in advising the enterprise on available standards and assists in driving standards adoption.
4. Assists with the portfolio management activities for the respective capabilities and may assist and provide guidance to other capability specialists
5. May assist with the developing and maintaining investment requests for respective capabilities of proposed IT programs, projects, and multi-year IT Plans which align & support Enterprise IT Strategic Plan.
6. Remains apprised of current solutions in the marketplace for the capability area(s) and continue to develop the understanding of the solutions.
7. Communicates status and potential opportunities to the Capability Managers and other relevant members of project teams.
8. Assists and may lead innovation and continuous improvement efforts that will be used to streamline methodologies and application portfolio management for capabilities including health & rationalization and ensures development and implementation of standards and reference architectures in strong collaboration across TVA organizations.
9. Supports and at times leads the development of sustainable strategies to ensure effective and efficient outcomes within the capability area(s) including creating and maintaining the capability roadmap as a part of the broader overall IT strategy.
10. Supports and at times leads development of the performance expectations and is responsible for establishing metrics capability area(s).
11. Informs capability manager and business engagement leads of performance (e.g., metrics), issues, and opportunities.
12. Interacts with business partners and IT organizations as a collaborator and advisor to identify and evaluate new technology products for their services.
13. Understands IT cost drivers and connects cost-of-service to consumption drivers and performance standards.
14. Reviews business requests, performs standards reviews, and participates in prioritization to ensure appropriate priorities are addressed.
15. Researches industry trends, maintains relevant technical expertise and remains abreast of evolving technologies through interaction with vendors, peers and participation in benchmarking activities and professional conferences/seminars.
16. Assists with project requirements definition and writing prior to RFP submittal.

A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, math, or related field; or equivalent education, training & experience; must possess a strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
Experience. At least 7 years’ experience delivering IT products, projects, services, direct business engagement or related discipline.

Possesses working knowledge of TVA processes, programs, and practices. Ability to analyze complex technical and management problems and determine best solutions. Ability to understand and perform economic and decision support analysis. Demonstrates and drives TVA competencies on a daily basis. Self-motivated and ability to work independently on tasks, with the exception of the most complex issues.
