Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is currently looking for a Product Support Sustaining Engineer with 3-5 years’ experience. This is a Direct hire opportunity with an Aerospace Filtration Company in Oxnard, CA.
Salary: $110K
Summary
Candidate with a strong background in engineering technical product support
Skills
- Strong in communication skills with suppliers, customers, and internal departments
- Knowledge of Aerospace and Military standards
- Blueprint reading, GD&T, Tolerance stack-up analysis
- Understanding of machining and machine shop practices
- CAD experience with PRO/E (preferred) or Solidworks
- Sustaining experience, dispositioning non-conforming parts, MRB
- Knowledge of forging, casting, and hog out design
- Experience with production assembly and test
- Interpreting test data for accuracy and validity of conclusions.
- Provides clear and concise rework/repair instructions based on test/analysis.
- Follows company standards and procedures
- Knowledge of configuration management, Enovia SmarTeam preferred
- Familiar with design, production, and test documents, ATP, QTP, QTR
- Experience troubleshooting and failure analysis of parts and assemblies
Additional Skills
- Experience in mechanical and electro mechanical design
- Experience in hydraulic, pneumatic and fuel valves and components (aerospace preferred)
- Understands Fluid flow and has strong mathematical and analytical skills
Education / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- 3 - 5 years of experience in Aerospace design and manufacturing environment
- Experience in Hydraulic and pneumatic components strongly preferred
