JSG is hiring a Product Manager for our client in Livermore, CA! Hybrid role

The Product Manager leads essential work in key upstream activities, product development, downstream activities and business management. The Product Manager must be a leader, strong communicator, project manager and bring strong marketing expertise/experience in the medical device field. This role will require immediate support in defining product requirements to meet the needs of users in current and new global markets. Products will include next-generation monitors for professional and home use, respiratory products, EHR and remote patient monitoring integrations, and digital health solutions.

Job Description:

  • Create User Requirements Specifications
  • Enumerate and define use cases spanning the full product lifecycle.
  • Manage contract UI/UX/ID for physical devices and software.
  • Conduct primary research, stakeholder interviews, user and customer interviews.
  • Assist in market sizing and business case development.
  • Execute formative human factors testing and usability testing.
  • Manage summative human factors testing.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to ensure that user needs are met.
  • Develop product instructions and labeling in collaboration with Engineering and Regulatory Affairs.
  • Develop API documentation in collaboration with Engineering.
  • Responsible for new product introductions – Pricing & Positioning, Launch Training, Sales &Marketing tool kit at time of launch
  • Define names for products and accessories.
  • Assist in creation of product marketing materials, including print, electronic and video.
  • Prioritize features and develop the software update roadmap.
  • Develop troubleshooting procedures for Customer Service.
  • Provide on-going product support / product expertise to customers and sales team.
  • Drive product line profitability through proactive work with sales, marketing, operations, regulatory and finance
  • Develop and maintain business cases for all new product development projects
  • Experience with medical device software, digital health, and/or EHR systems.
  • Creative thinking, pathfinding and tie breaking
  • A vision for the evolving healthcare industry and patient care delivery.
  • Experience conducting market research or user research.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one of UI design, ID or research.
  • Experience with cybersecurity and privacy frameworks and regulations including HIPAA,GDPR, and ISO 270001/270002.
