Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a Tier 1 vendor for the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) and we have an active 12-month contract requisition for an experienced, ServiceNow Developer / Software Asset Management Consultant, working remotely and affiliated with the downtown Chattanooga office for TVA.
 

  • W2 Hourly Pay Rate: (time and a half for overtime)
  • Duration: 12 months
  • Target start date: 08/01/22

NOTES:

  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required
  • Candidates within a 2-3 hour radius of Chattanooga preferred
  • Vendor candidate submissions will not be accepted
  • As an agency, we cannot support Corp-to-Corp agreements

This position is needed to perform day-to-day software asset management duties while TVA employees work and charge to the ITAM projects. The candidate should have experience as a ServiceNow developer, preferably asset management. Experience with SQL and Java Script, preferred.

  • PERFORMS ANALYSIS AND DEVELOPMENT OF IT ASSET MANAGEMENT, TOOLS, PROCESSES, AND DATABASES.
  • MAINTAIN AND ADMINISTER THE SERVICES TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH CONFIGURATIONS, PATCHES AND APPROVED DESIGNS.
  • ANALYZES EMERGENT IT INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICE MANAGEMENT REQUIREMENTS AND ENGINEERS INTEGRATED SYSTEM SOLUTIONS TO OPTIMIZE THE SERVICE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS.
  • DEVELOPS AND IMPLEMENTS CUSTOM SOLUTIONS USING PROGRAMMING/SCRIPTS FOR EFFICIENT OPERATION OF SERVICE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS.
  • INSTALLS, CUSTOMIZES, AND INTEGRATES IT SERVICE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AND TOOLS, ENSURING THE RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, AND PERFORMANCE OF THOSE SYSTEMS.
  • PROVIDES TRAINING TO OTHER IT PERSONNEL ON THE CORRECT AND EFFICIENT USE OF IMPLEMENTED SYSTEMS AND REPORTS.
  • PERFORM THE SERVICE MANAGEMENT PROCESSES AND PROCEDURES REQUIRED FOR ACCURATE AND TIMELY DATA AND REPORTS.

Education / Experience:

  • BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, MATHEMATICS, BUSINESS OR RELATED FIELD OF STUDY (OR EQUIVALENT EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE)
  • 3+ YEARS OF RELATIVE EXPERIENCE IN ONE OR MORE OF THE ITIL PROCESSES FOR CHANGE MANAGEMENT, INCIDENT MANAGEMENT, PROBLEM MANAGEMENT, CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT, ASSET MANAGEMENT, SERVICE LEVEL MANAGEMENT AND RELEASE MANAGEMENT AND IN THE SYSTEMS, DATABASES, AND INTEGRATIONS IN PLACE FOR THE OPERATIONS OF THESE PROCESSES FOR A LARGE ENTERPRISE WITH MULTIPLE DATACENTERS.
  • TRAVEL AS REQUIRED TO CARRY OUT PROJECT WORK OR PERFORM TEMPORARY DUTY AT OTHER THAN HOME-BASED SITE WHICH SUPPORTS BOTH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL BUSINESS ON THE SCHEDULE AND SHIFT REQUIREMENTS OF THOSE BUSINESSES
