Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for a Sourcing & Logistics Consultant with Intermodal, bulk or other means of transporting experience. This is a contract opportunity with global leader in titanium technologies, thermal and specialized solutions, advanced performance materials and chemical solutions located in Wilmington DE.
Pay up to $50/hour
Responsibilities:
We need at project leader who is solely tasked with improving logistics including:
- Heatmapping locations served overlayed with rail lanes
- Finding rail redirect option on rails
- Evaluating and opening new slurry terminals
- Investigating intermodal, bulk or other unconventional means of transporting slurry from our NJV plant to customers
- Contacting customer sites to understand unloading capabilities
- Identifying and working with third parties and other needed resources
Skills Needed:
- Strong project leadership and project management skills
- Strong problem solving skills, outside-of-the box thinking
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills - Some logistics experience
- Fast & efficient
- sense of urgency
- 5+ years total experience with improvements in logistics
