Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is currently looking for a Sr. Internal Communications Specialist with 5 years of experience. This is a contract opportunity with a financial institution in Washington State (remote). Salary starting at $27.00/hr.
Applicants must live is Washington State.

    • Partner with manager and senior team members to lead, complete, and implement assigned projects that promote a unified culture and ensure employees understand institutions Purpose, values, culture, and key strategies, and how they contribute to them.
    • Collaborate with IC leadership to develop and execute the institutions IC strategy with development and deployment of tactics through project management, SME outreach and content development. This includes but is not limited to written and video content, and employee meetings such as All Staff, Open Mics and Town Halls.
    • Serve as a resource and lead project-related communications and research as assigned. Organize, manage, and lead detailed communication plans and project timelines in partnership with manager and other senior leaders.
    • Review and recommend updates to editorial cadence and flow to ensure employee engagement and alignment with the institutions Purpose, values, culture, and key strategies as needed.
    • Coordinate and oversee meetings and other stakeholder communications, including third party partners and agencies, in support of key IC projects and programs.
    • Interact with subject matter experts and key stakeholders while coordinating resources and monitoring project timelines.
    • Use available data and analytics to report on the success or opportunities of the institutions IC channels and collaborate with the IC team to identify and implement channel enhancements.
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, public relations, marketing or equivalent work or education-related experience required. Advanced degree preferred.
    • Minimum 5 years of project coordination, communication or public relations experience required.
    • Effective project management skills required.
    • Effective verbal and written skills required to effectively communicate and provide customer service required.
    • Demonstrated ability to research and develop recommendations in the implementation of new projects and programs required.
    • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills required.
