- Design, integrate, configure, deploy, test, and maintain numerous types of network devices, interfaces, and technologies as they relate to data, voice, and video hardware and software
- Manage configuration changes of various voice and data equipment
- Apply knowledge of multiple aspects of telecommunications, internetworking, and data systems networking
- Provide escalated Tier-2 and Tier-3 technical support on data, voice, and video networks
- Resolve complex network problems and operate network analyzers, WAN test equipment, and network simulators
- Develop and maintain installation, configuration, and operational procedures
- Provide support to users to help troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Work with various vendors to commission and integrate new equipment
- Maintain supporting infrastructure such as storage, compute, and virtualized environments
- Advise on alternatives and assess technical limitations with operational realities
- Influence purchases of network equipment and components
- Develop business case justifications and technology evaluations to develop or purchase innovative technology, and establish appropriate procedures to test, implement, install, and monitor problem resolutions guidelines
- Perform as the technical Subject Matter Expert for Storage, Compute, and Virtualization
- Anticipate customer needs to plan and design solutions
- Provide leadership with a willingness to help others learn and succeed
- Research and solve problems independently and in team setting

- Due to the requirements of federal government contracts, you must be a U.S. citizen and possess an active TS-SCI security clearance
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university AND a minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience; OR, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 15 years of relevant professional work experience in Information Technology
- Proven technical experience such as System Administration, Network Engineering, Computer Programming, etc.
- Proven experience with Linux/UNIX operating systems
- Demonstrated experience with network switch and firewall configuration and maintenance (VLANs, ACLs, firewall rules, etc.)
- Team Lead or individual project lead experience
- Security+ certification (or ability and commitment to obtain certification within 6 months) OR similar certification

- CCNA Collaboration (Voice) certification
- Experience with end-to-end troubleshooting across multiple devices and networks
- Experience with load testing / network simulation
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Openstack
- Experience with Software Defined Networking (SDN) or Network Function Virtualization (NFV)
- Experience with LTE, UMTS, GSM technology, wireless voice, or landline phone switches
- Experience with telephony signals analysis and troubleshooting
