Johnson Service Group is recruiting a Front-End Developer who is strong in design and implementation of web-based solutions.  This is a long term 6 month plus contract.

DESCRIPTION: As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will develop applications to enhance requirement and verification management functionality for various systems engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Front-end software development, well versed in the design and implementation of web-based applications
  • Familiarity with back-end development and the design of efficient and scalable solutions

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science
  • 8+ years of Software Development experience
  • 5+ years of extensive experience in JavaScript with familiarity in Python required
  • Strong experience in front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue
  • Familiarity with a systems-level application language (C#, Java, or C++) required
  • Understanding of multiple programming paradigms (OOP, functional)
  • Good understanding of OOD, SOA and Iterative development process
  • Good understanding of both operating systems and web application frameworks
  • Experience in developing and troubleshooting both server and web applications
  • Familiarity in designing and developing REST API and microservices
  • Well versed in SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Proficiency with any of the follow version control tools: Git/Github/Gitlab
  • Experience deploying Web Applications using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Develop, Extend and Maintain CI and CD pipelines
  • Exceptional design and implementation skills
  • Good professional skills, both written and verbal

Desired

  • Familiarity with Atlassian toolset, especially Confluence and JIRA
  • User training or helpdesk experience a plus
    • Administrator or power user of IBM Rational DOORS Next Generation, or other Jazz CLM applications
