Why are Technical Recruiters important to JSG?

  • Technical Recruiters (TR) are an integral part of fulfilling the hiring needs of our clients by helping support the recruiting function on a national level. TRs develop strategic goals, utilize social media to build key candidate relationships, collaborating in a team, while maintaining extensive knowledge of current job market conditions.

What is the Westmont, IL office culture like?

  • Our Westmont, IL office culture is focused on personal and company goals. It is not all about the numbers. When people meet their weekly goals, they get out early on Fridays. We have office lunches, get-togethers after work and go on outings once per quarter. People on the team have formed friendships outside of work which adds greatly to the collaborative vibe.
  • We are a large, privately owned company, but enable people to be flexible in order to adapt to our customer’s needs. Our Technical Recruiters have access to multiple candidate databases and LinkedIn Recruiter resources.
  • We focus on organic growth and strongly believe in promoting from within. Recruiters can grow into Recruiting Managers, Business Development Managers and Middle Management roles. It depends on the fit. Some of our Recruiters love recruiting and stay in a recruiting role, but add additional Account Resource Manager responsibilities, acting as the point of contact to our larger customers.
  • We promote a strong work/life balance.
  • We are in a desirable location in the Western suburbs with many shops and great restaurants nearby. Our office is modern, and is the company headquarters. All support services are on-site, which enables us further to expedite and act urgently in order to exceed our customer’s needs.
  • We are in process of selecting charity and volunteer opportunities for the team to participate in.

What is the training/professional development strategy?

  • The initial training consists of an intensive two-week program where you will work with your manager learning the process, tools and systems, shadowing other Recruiters, utilizing modules and books, primarily focusing on hands-on learning.
  • After the initial training period, you will still work closely with the manager for the following 2-4 months.

What are the professional growth opportunities?

  • Your growth at JSG is wide open. Your earning potential is unlimited, with leadership opportunities down the road, as JSG has been in major growth mode for the last five years, and shows no signs of slowing down.

Words from the leader:

“Our office culture is truly enjoyable. I want to focus on goals, customer satisfaction and company growth and lead people that don’t need to be micromanaged.”
