Training Analyst

Role Overview:
The training analysts generally work a 4-10 schedule Monday - Thursday. Start times are flexible but the standard is from 6 am to 5 pm.

Eligibility for this position requires US citizenship; successful candidate must provide proof of US citizenship in order to obtain badge access to the site. Candidate must complete security questionnaire and successfully clear site access requirements check. All employees are subject and agree to random drug and alcohol testing as a condition of employment. Must be able to obtain a security clearance, as applicable.

Role Overview:
• Designs, develops, and delivers training and indoctrination programs related to project construction processes using a variety of instructional methods to train both non-manual and craft personnel.
• Reports to and receives technical and operational supervision from project training manager.
• Assists line management in the development and documentation of requirements for construction personnel to ensure personnel are competent to perform assigned tasks.


Responsibilities:
• Assist training analysts with the maintenance and tracking of new construction personnel training status
• Interface with superintendents and field engineering to implement required training to support the project construction schedule and activities.
• Facilitate the indoctrination of project personnel using a dynamic learning center
• Develop additional classroom or on-the-job training as needed based on the project needs.
• Assist the training manager in monitoring the effectiveness of project training programs.
• Provides classroom and hands on training on a broad range of construction related topics for manual and non­ manual workers. Training topics will include but are not limited to:
o Hazardous Energy Control (LOTO); Fall Protection and Prevention; Electrical Safety; Mobile Equipment Operations, i.e. fork lift, aerial and scissor lifts; Confined Space Entry
o Construction Environmental Safety & Health Orientation; Hearing Conservation; Fire Watch/Hot Work

Basic Qualifications:
• Must have a Bachelor's Degree and 9 or more years of progressive professional experience. In lieu of degree, must have a high school diploma and 15 or more years of progressive professional work experience.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check which includes verification of employment and education.
Must be able to obtain site security badge for access to work site.

Minimum Qualifications:
• 9 or more years of Construction or related industry experience or in lieu of a degree, 15 or more years of related experience
• 5 more years of experience providing OSHA related training courses
• Be able to demonstrate a familiarity with current industry safety and quality standards
• Understanding of the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) processes.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of basic OSHA requirements for Construction or facility operations activities
• Must be able to work overtime as required.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of generic learning management systems principles.
• Knowledge of training records management principles.
