Johnson Service Group is looking for an Admin Asst for one of our Clients. This position will support Water Conservation efforts. In addition to admin duties will participate in Order Fulfilment and Inventory Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Most of this position will be spent working with the Online Shopping Cart program, which provides tools and equipment for residents and businesses to save water.
  • Will access the online Shopping Cart orders, package the tools and equipment (including showerheads, aerators, etc.), address the packages and track them in an online database (Excel-based currently).
  • This position will require working in an office and on occasion going to the offsite Warehouse for supplies.
  • Some lifting of boxes may be required.
  • Position will need to coordinate closely with different departments.
  • Reporting on the number of items sent through the Online Shopping Cart program and ordering various pieces of water conservation equipment when they run low.
  • Delivering materials in the county to residents, businesses, including landscaping nurseries and businesses, and water retailers and city government offices.
  • The position may also include receiving calls on the Water Conservation Hotline and directing calls to the appropriate staff.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of best practices for office procedures, methods, and equipment.
  • Principles and procedures of record keeping file maintenance and retention.
  • Common desktop applications and software (MS Office).
  • Mathematical principles and English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Answering phones and customer service skills.
  • Able to coordinate a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work independently, as well as within a team.
  • Able to prepare correspondence; receive, sort, and distribute mail, as well as package and send mail.
  • Learn to store, maintain, and retrieve a wide variety of active and inactive Client records, information, and files.
  • Ability to learn and adhere to program guidelines and be able to learn to use a variety of office equipment.
  • Candidate should be in possession of a valid California driver's license.
  • Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade.
  • One (1) year of administrative support experience.
