Facilities Integrity Specialist

Location: Primarily remote with required travel to Estevan, SK, and other field locations (Calgary, AB; Virden, MB; Athabasca, AB; Slave Lake, AB)

Contract Duration: 12 months

Job Overview:
JSG is seeking a qualified professional to support the development and implementation of our client's Facilities Integrity Management Program. This is a temporary contract role requiring an individual with extensive experience in facility piping and pressure piping integrity management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Update and enhance the Facilities Integrity Management Program, focusing on facility piping, pressure vessels, and storage tanks.
• Develop and implement risk-based inspection (RBI) approaches.
• Create procedures, work instructions, and inspection plans.
• Perform site visits for visual inspections and data collection.
• Mentor and guide junior staff and third-party inspectors.
• Review inspection results and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop tools for data compilation and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Engineering degree or Engineering Technologist diploma.
• Professional Engineer or Certified Technologist registration in AB, SK, or MB.
• API 510 and/or API 570 certification (API 580 and API 653 certifications are a plus).
• Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in integrity management of facility piping and pressure piping.
• Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations in AB, SK, and MB.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to travel to various company sites (approx. 1 week per month).
• Strong communication skills for regular status updates and coordination with company personnel.
• Proficiency in developing and using Excel-based tools for data management.

Work Environment:

• The majority of the work can be completed remotely.
• Travel required for site visits and meetings (approx. 1 week per month) to locations including Estevan, SK; Calgary, AB; Virden, MB; Athabasca, AB; and Slave Lake, AB.
• Temporary workspaces will be provided at field locations as needed.
