** Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is looking for an experienced (Structural) Engineer to fill a three- year assignment in the Birmingham, AL area.

Job Title: (Structural) Engineer 3
Work Location: Birmingham, AL
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of design experience of industrial and/or commercial structural engineering
Experience analyzing steel connections
Professional Engineering registration is a plus, but not required
Proficient with MathCAD and STAAD Pro
Working knowledge with ANSYS
Working knowledge of AISC, ASCE, ACI codes
Design experience in transmission structures is a plus, but not required.
Computer skills to be proficient with standard office software applications
Interpersonal skills sufficient to build working relationships with peers, internal customers and the general public
Time management skills sufficient to manage multiple projects with various priorities and competing deadlines
Written and verbal communication skills
This position is a hybrid work schedule. Office time is required at the beginning, while the candidate is in training. Upon completion of training, remote work is available.
