Project Control Specialist – Cost (Nuclear)
Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing firm, and we are recruiting for an experienced Project Control Specialist – Cost (Nuclear)
to work on a long-term contract basis starting as soon as possible.
Hourly Rate Range: $80.00 - $83.00 p/h
Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required
Client Location: Chattanooga, TN – (possibility of Remote option for an exceptional candidate).
Residency: Local or Regional candidates are highly preferred; however, per diem or TLA is paid for out-of-town candidates. Local resources are required to work in-office twice per week.
If you live out of the area, you will be required to work in the office four days per month (typically the second full week of the month). The rest of the time, you will be able to work remotely.
We are looking for a COST PCS with experience in managing the cost portion of projects (and preferably Nuclear or at least large Construction projects).
Description:
Serves as nuclear/industry subject matter expert and may be called upon by others to provide technical direction and oversight. Analyze cost data to find methods of reducing costs and/or increasing efficiency and coordinate a corrective action plan. develop a cost-benefit analysis.
Develop project budgets and reporting structures for actual expenditures and monitor performance. assist in developing budgets and reporting structures for actual expenditures and monitor performance as requested. monitor and forecast performance in comparison to business plan objectives.
Coordinate engineering a/e contracts, monitor contract expenditures for usage trends, assist in the process of issuing new contracts, amending existing contracts, and resolve questions, issues, etc. Lead/manage the process, ensuring the integrity of the process, resolving pending/outstanding requests, reconciling encumbrances and pending tasks with IBS as required.
As the subject matter expert, develop and implement methods for performance monitoring, reporting, analysis, and trend assessment. facilitate programs to ensure the establishment and analysis of specific operational and process improvement plans used for goal setting, estimating project plans, performance indicators/targets, benchmarking, baselining, and trending.
