Job Description

Senior Scrum Master specializing in Agile principles and modern software development, facilitating cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality services for digital transformation initiatives.

Must-Have Skills (Minimum 5 years experience):
  • Active Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
  • Experience leading Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, stand-ups, product demonstrations, and retrospectives
  • Proficiency in Agile methodology and its application to software development processes/SDLC
  • Experience planning work aligned with product owner priorities, including backlog planning
  • Knowledge of various software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban)
  • Strong understanding of software development processes, best practices, and standards Experience in web service or development (5 years preferred)
  • Experience developing stakeholder relationships, including at executive levels (5 years preferred)
  • Public sector experience (2 years preferred)
  • Familiarity with human-centered design, service design, or design thinking approaches (1 year preferred)
Responsibilities:
  • Mentor cross-functional teams in Agile principles and methodologies.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, demos, retrospectives).
  • Coach product owners on Agile tools like sprint backlogs, release planning, and road-mapping.
  • Maintain delivery metrics using Agile project management tools (e.g., velocity charts, burndown charts).
  • Lead digital service activities like user research and usability testing.
  • Identify and eliminate roadblocks to ensure successful sprint delivery.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure continuous improvement in Agile practices.
Project Examples for Submission:

  3. Project size in dollar value.
  4. Design, development, and risk mitigation approaches.
  5. Skills, tools, or technologies used.
