A&P Mechanic
Location:Â Tucson, AZ,
Job Description: As a A&P Technician, here is what you’ll be doing at the core, day to day.
•   Perform heavy maintenance (C-Checks) on various regional jet airframes.Â
•   Comply with environmental health & safety policies and procedures.Â
•   Perform all assigned tasks in a safe and timely manner. Â
•   Inspect and repair aircraft according to strict safety guidelines set by the FAA or applicable regulatory body.
•   Consult maintenance blueprints, manuals, and other documents to assist with troubleshooting and repairs.
•   General mechanical and electrical maintenance and complex repairs on aircraft structures and systems.
•   Perform troubleshooting, installations, removals, and inspections on various aircraft.Â
•   Complete tasks within allotted time frames in accordance with FAA (or equivalent) and company standards.
•   Operate ground support equipment as required.
Here’s what is required to succeed as a A&P Technician.
Minimum of 5-8 years of work experience as an Aircraft Technician in an MRO / Heavy Maintenance environment.
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) or Airframe (A) License is required.
CRJ airframe experience is required.
If former military, those with military aircraft maintenance experience such as Depot/Isochronal/Phase inspections is a plus.
Must possess their own tools.
Ability to effectively communicate in English aircraft maintenance actions both verbally and in writing.
Must be comfortable with 12-hour shift work, which includes days / nights and weekends.
