Johnson Service Group, a nationally award-winning staffing firm, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Coordinator for a high growth construction firm in San Diego.
Direct Hire | Onsite | Salary range $55K-65K based on experience Â
Position Summary
Manage invoicing, collections, and reconciliation processes to ensure accurate and timely accounts receivable transactions while maintaining compliance with California financial regulations. Responsibilities
Generate and distribute accurate customer invoices.
Monitor and resolve overdue accounts using aging reports.
Post payments, credits, and adjustments in accounting systems.
Communicate with clients to resolve payment discrepancies.
Manage cash flow forecasts and ensure operational liquidity.
Maintain customer communication for approvals and pending change orders.
Prepare monthly accounts receivable reports.
Support month-end/year-end close and ensure GAAP compliance.
Improve billing and collection processes; implement workflow tools.
Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and correspondence.
Provide excellent customer service for billing and payment inquiries.
QualificationsÂ
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
2+ years of accounts receivable or general accounting experience.
Proficient in Excel.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
