The US Marketing Application Analyst - Pricing is accountable for providing technical-based systems support to our Marketing and Pricing organization. Primary responsibility is to ensure excellent customer service through the application of customer support skills, business, and technical knowledge to triage, diagnose, troubleshoot, and escalate or resolve vendor software, as well as in-house developed pricing applications, configurations, processes, interfaces, and add-on application issues.
Basic/Required:
• Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
• Bachelor's Degree or higher
• 3 or more years direct experience with Information Technology infrastructure and application knowledge/experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data management, including gathering and interpreting data from separate systems
• Work day-to-day directly with Marketing and Pricing Business team in order to support various pricing applications
• Basic knowledge of database SQL languages
• Basic or advanced knowledge of System Architecture related to Cloud infrastructure
• Ability/Willingness to provide day to day 24/7 application support
• Commitment to excellence in customer service
• Understanding business processes end-to-end, actively measuring business contribution of enabling systems (functional business system measures) and initiating improvement to the process and/or systems
• Identifying business unit demand for services and resources, provide input to and collaborate with IT Service groups to meet that demand
Preferred:
• Experience providing system support for pricing applications such as the PROS software offerings
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Information Technology or Computer Sciences or IT related field
• 3 or more years of knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP R/3, SAP BW, Fiori, Business Workflow, Alteryx, Tableau
• 2 or more years of experience in a Marketing, Pricing, Commercial, Midstream operations
• 2 or more years of experience in internal and external auditing and SOX auditing and DR work coordination
• Proven experience with the oil and gas industry
