JSG is a professional search firm, seeking a Licensed Architect for client in the Evanston, Il area.
This client is an engineering firm with projects in commercial, light industrial and residential arena.
Projects include add-ons, renovations, and new builds.
Requirements / Duties:
Licensed Architect in Illinois
Minimum 10 years of experience
Proficient in AutoCAD 2015, preferred knowledge of Sheet Set Manager and Dynamic Blocks.
Self-starter and able to work with little supervision.
Must have own vehicle with good driving record and able to field measure and verify building components.
Will be reimbursed for driving time, mileage, to client site, IRS rate per mile for driving (currently 0.70 per mile).
Hours paid from time they leave the office until they get back.
Fluent in English, written and spoken.
Will work directly with the client & principal.
Driving to client site will vary, some weeks not at all and some could be 3-5 times
Clients are all over the Chicagoland area. Almost no out of state or overnight visits.
Responsible for drafting projects from concept to construction/permit drawings, site visits, proposals.
Must be able to field measure and verify building components.
Salary $95k -$120k ( $46 to $57/hour)
