Johnson Service Group has an immediate need for a Part-Time temporary position as a Civil Engineer. The successful candidate will have a BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering. This job is on-site in San Jose, CA. W2 employees of JSG only.
The successful candidate will manage upcoming technical studies such as supporting site permitting and compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). Another responsibility is to assist with feasibility study for grant-funded project related to Water Recycling Program Feasibility Study.
Additional duties include contributing to direct potable reuse research, providing technical support for outreach initiatives. overseeing quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), database management, and reporting.
Shall be familiar with principles of Civil/ Environmental Engineering, water quality parameters and water/wastewater treatment processes and recycled water production and also be able to work on developing engineering feasibility studies and reports. Have an understanding of the permitting and regulatory requirements related to recycled water and water reuse is desired. Be able to communicate clearly in oral and written forms.
