Johnson Service Group, Inc. Has an ongoing need for Pre-commissioning Electricians In this role you will participate in the Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activities with the goal of providing Control Engineering with a system tested and ready for more comprehensive controls functional commissioning and integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
Reading and interpreting conveyor blueprints (i.e., identifying unit number, conveyor location in building, etc.)
Basic understanding of electrical wiring, termination, and troubleshooting
Verify all inputs and outputs work correctly
Verify IOs
Test overall system functionality
Understanding of pneumatics, air operated components etc.
Basic understanding of Material Handling Systems, the basic Controls and machine functionality
Trouble-shooting skills and ability to resolve electrical equipment malfunctions.
Education
Two-year technical degree or equivalent experience, preferably electrical engineering related field with strong emphasis on PLC controls and /or Mechatronics
2-5 years working with installation, Electrical trouble shooting or Pre-Commissioning with a focus on electrical systems or equivalent experience in a construction, manufacturing, maintenance, or Electrical QC environment.
Working knowledge of networks, electrical connections, wiring, etc.
Understanding of Allen Bradley and/Or (PLC) Processors
