Johnson Service Group, a nationally recognized staffing firm, is targeting a Bilingual Translator for our global manufacturing client in the Columbia, MO area. The incumbent will provide essential translation services, both oral and written, to assist our supervisors, managers, trainers, and employees in fulfilling their roles effectively. This position requires an individual who is fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to translate complex instructions and discussions accurately.
Responsibilities:
-Assist manufacturing supervisors, trainers, and team leads in conveying instructions and engaging in meaningful conversations with Spanish-speaking employees.
-Translate written work instructions, safety bulletins, and other documents from English to Spanish as needed.
-Participate in meetings to provide real-time translation of discussion topics between English and Spanish.
-Work closely with other team members out in the factory, ensuring effective communication between employees and supervisors.
-This role will primarily be active on the factory floor, interacting directly with personnel to facilitate daily operations.
Qualifications:
-High School Diploma or Equivalency required.
-Must be bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
-Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively and cooperatively with -others.
-Previous experience as a translator is preferred.
-Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a preferred.
