Johnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking a HVAC- Business Development Manager for an electronics manufacturing and thermal management company.
Remote opportunity in Central/Eastern US
Overview:
Experienced HVAC Business Development Manager to drive sales of EC fans and air-moving solutions to HVAC OEMs, system integrators, and equipment manufacturers. This role focuses on building customer relationships, managing the sales pipeline, and leading design-ins from concept through production while collaborating with global engineering and manufacturing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospect and develop new business with HVAC OEMs and equipment manufacturers
Present solutions, gather requirements, and manage RFIs/RFQs, proposals, and quotes
Drive design-ins from concept through production and ensure project execution
Coordinate with Asia-based R&D and manufacturing teams on product development and delivery
Track pipeline, forecasts, and CRM activity; manage accounts end-to-end
Support customers post-delivery to ensure performance and satisfaction
Monitor market trends and provide input on product strategy
Qualifications:
5+ years in HVAC, EC fans, motors, or air-moving products (sales or business development)
Experience working with HVAC OEMs and design-in sales cycles
Strong understanding of airflow, EC motors, and system integration
Ability to manage pipeline, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration
Willingness to travel 25–40% (U.S. & Canada)
Preferred:
Experience with EC fans, BLDC motor control, and HVAC applications
Proven track record of design-in wins and revenue growth

Compensation:
$90,000 – $120,000 per year (based on experience)
Plus bonus and commission opportunities
