Business Support Representative (Level A) – Vendor & PMO Support Location: Chattanooga, TN (Chattanooga Office Complex – COC)
Position Type: 12-Month Contract
Pay Rate: Up to $19.50/hour (Depending on Experience)
Target Schedule: September 29, 2026 – September 29, 2027
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday About the Role We are seeking an analytical, detail-driven Business Support Representative to provide technical and operational administrative support for our project management and vendor management operations at the Chattanooga Office Complex.
While this position carries an administrative classification, we are specifically looking for an analytical candidate with a technical mindset who can manage the structured administrative processes of Vendor Management—overseeing external suppliers and partners to maximize business value, control costs, and minimize risk across the entire relationship lifecycle.
In this role, you will support our PMO/Project team by actively tracking Statement of Work (SOW) deliverables, date changes, scope shifts, and contractor onboarding. Key Responsibilities
SOW & Vendor Deliverable Tracking: Monitor, track, and log all Statement of Work (SOW) deliverables, milestone dates, schedule shifts, and scope changes across external vendor contracts.
Vendor Operations & Onboarding: Manage administrative workflows supporting external suppliers and partners to control costs, ensure compliance, and minimize risk across the relationship lifecycle; track contractor onboarding processes.
PMO & Project Team Support: Serve as an analytical administrative resource for the project management office (PMO)—gathering, organizing, and synthesizing business data to generate project performance and status reports.
Records & Document Control: Maintain and archive critical business correspondence, operating procedures, tracking logs, maintenance schedules, contract documents, and technical records in compliance with standards.
Information & Data Processing: Input and manage project, financial, and procurement data within enterprise systems to maintain data integrity and track key metrics.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Support budget/accounting tracking, equipment/facilities coordination, and general office/administrative workflows as needed.
What We’re Looking For
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required (Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field preferred).
Experience: 2+ years of experience supporting a Project Team, PMO group, or Supply Chain / Contracting environment. Experience in vendor management, contract administration, or project control is highly desirable.
Analytical Mindset: Strong technical aptitude with the ability to track complex deliverables, analyze workflow data, and maintain accurate records across multiple projects.
Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency with standard desktop tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) and enterprise project/data management software; strong data entry accuracy.
Communication & Organization: Excellent organizational mastery and written/verbal communication skills to interface effectively with project leads, internal management, and external vendor partners.
Why Apply?
Stability: Full-time hours on a year-long contract with a stable corporate schedule.
Valuable PMO Experience: Gain high-visibility experience in vendor operations, contracting support, and energy infrastructure project management.
