Our client needs a seasoned Telecom Engineer who has developed strong skills in operating and supporting Cisco Unity and Cisco Unified Communications Manager technologies. This contract position in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area is initially seen as a 6-month assignment. The targeted W-2 pay range for this role is $55-$63 per hour. The actual pay rate will depend upon your level of experience.
This position requires current experience with Cisco telecom solutions (Unity, CUCM, etc.). Experience with Cisco networking and cloud solutions does not prepare candidates for this role.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Configure, deploy, monitor, and support operation of Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUMC) platform
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Current, proven experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUMC) platform
- Proven experience with Cisco Unity messaging and voicemail solution
- Demonstrated ability to manage or participate in complex issues impacting the infrastructure
- Advanced knowledge of Cisco router, switch firewall, UCS, Avaya voice, F5 load balancing, and RSA authentication
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of a broad range of management, computing and networking technologies
- Demonstrated ability to work with or lead a cross-functional team of IT professionals
- In-depth working knowledge of high availability systems and/or critical infrastructure solutions
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, business administration, or related field of study; OR, in lieu of a degree, equivalent education, training & experience
