JOB SUMMARY:
The Composites Mechanic performs aircraft maintenance and/or repairs within estimated time and in accordance with applicable HAECO Airframe Services ("HAECO"), FAA, and customer standards of quality. This includes organizing his or her work plan in an efficient and resourceful manner. The Composites Mechanic is responsible to work in a safe manner, eliminating waste, and delivering a quality product on time.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Perform composite activities including production and repairs within prescribed cycle-time/ budgeted time and to HCS standards of quality. Will perform final assemblies per engineering drawings and specification requirements.
Essential Job Duties:
Manufacture interior parts and components utilizing engineering drawings and specifications.
Promote a culture of safety by monitoring self and others to assure all duties are performed within the guidelines as specified by HCS policies and procedures.
Perform basic and advanced functions of panel preparation, reading and interpreting of blue prints, engineering process and material specifications.
Follow proper paperwork and documentation procedures.
Comply with safety and company policies and use protective equipment as required.

Job Qualifications: Minimum
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic computer skills
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
Must be able to learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, repair manuals, etc.
Proficient in use of hand tools such as drill motors, screw gun, die grinder and routers
One (1) year shop experience in similar environment
Physical Requirements:
May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
Subject to continual loud noises
Visual acuity must be a minimum of 20/40 corrected
Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, stand for prolonged periods of time; climb steps, ladders and/or service stands
Must be able to wear and breathe through a respirator
Must be able to safely work around hazardous chemicals, solvents, resins and adhesives
