Job Description
Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for a Civil Inspector with Roadway experience. This is a direct hire opportunity with a Civil Engineering firm in Haddonfield NJ.
Pay around $40/hour, could go higher for an experienced candidate.
Job Description and Inspection Responsibilities:
- Roadway (earthwork, drainage, HMA/slurry seal paving, grading, utilities, electrical, etc.).
- Structural (foundation, piles, substructure/superstructure concrete, beam erection, deck formwork, MSE walls, overhead/monotube sign structures, etc.
- Culvert rehabilitation.
- Experience with Site Manager (NJDOT) or CAPEX (NJTA).
- Familiarity with ADA compliance of curb ramps and sidewalks, streetscape and traffic signal and timing upgrades, is preferred.
Certifications nice to have:
- NICET Levels II, III, IV or equivalent experience;
- NJSAT (New Jersey Society of Asphalt Technologists);
- ACI (American Concrete Institute), Grade 1 Technician and ACI-CCTC; and
- TCC (Traffic Control Coordinator + Refresher) offered by Rutgers University.
